Chinese New Year Holiday

Ya, ya... I know it's very late, but I just didn't have the will power to update this blog.

We actually had a great Chinese New Year holiday this year. It involved a lot of travelling (and eating) in the span of 3 days.

Wong Fei Hung in action:

First day of CNY, as usual, we headed down south for our "makan besar" gathering with the Chinese clan. The traffic was quite bad at certain unusual places, and we reached Ayer Keroh at about 4pm. After the customary limau, kacang and keropok eating session, we went to a Chinese restaurant for a 6-course lunch cum dinner.

Banyaknya melantak.. hehe..

After the meal was over, we started our journey back to Abah's hometown in Kulai, Johor. But not before taking the opportunity to take photos with the lion! (Courtesy of my 2 handsome cousins)

We reached Nenek's house at about 9.30pm. Makan lagi! Then, terus pengsan for the rest of the night. Oh ya! I drove all the way, y'know!

The next afternoon, I had to go to JB to pass something to a client. The whole clan plus Nenek and Tok Mok tagged along. We then visited our Noyang's cemetary at Tampoi before stopping for a short while at Danga Bay. No stroller, and Daniel refused to walk on his own equalled tak larat nak jalan jauh-jauh.

On the day that we were supposed to go back to KL (Saturday), Nenek asked us to join her to attend a wedding of a distant relative of my late grandfather. We didn't really know them, but since Nenek insisted, we went along.

So, apa lagi? Macam pacat lah. Lepas makan terus blah...hehe...Tapi sempatlah berkenal-kenalan and bergambar dengan sedara mara yang tak dikenali.

Daniel boring tunggu bila nak balik?

On the way back to KL, we made a pit stop at Ayer Itam. Shopping time! Yeahoo!

Membeli, memborong dengan dahsyatnya sampai dua kereta pun tak muat. Nasib baik dah penuh and jauh lagi perjalanan. Kalau tidak, mau sambung lagi shopping!

We reached Klang at about 10pm. Rushed to my bro-in-law house to send him, my sis and daughter back and also for a makan-makan session (again?) in conjunction with BIL's mother's birthday. After makan, we again became pacats and sped up to my new PH house to unload all the stuffs that I bought in Ayer Itam and also the many, many plants that Mak and Abah took from Nenek's garden in the kampung.

Satisfying (the shopping and eating parts) although tiring (travelling and driving parts). Only wished that we could explore more of Danga Bay. The traditional houses there were really nice. Next time must go there again with Hubby and Daniel.
