British jobs for British workers

I couldn't help but wonder whether Malaysians would ever do this. We instead are welcoming all those Indonesians, Bangladeshis, Myamarians, Filipinos etc. I can't imagine Malaysians walk out on their respective factories or such, bringing banners stating 'Malaysia jobs for Malaysians!" This I think is necessary, since a lot of Malaysians have been put out of jobs recently. Many of those who didn't have to lose their jobs have been beginning to receive paycuts, unpaid leave etc. This is really bad. I think it is worse than the last slum.

For now, I am praying that this disaster will pass by immediately, without anymore sufferings. Amiiinnnnn!

Hari Ini Bentuk Kerajaan, Esok Harga Minyak Turun

Excerpt from an email I received from a friend today, which pretty much described what my parents and i thought about the famous debate. Cheers!

Dari awal debat lagi dalam sesi ucapan pembukaan DSAI telah mula mejelaskan beberapa fakta penting yang logik dijadikan panduan dalam menguruskan ekonomi Malaysia berbeza dengan Shabery yang dari awal ucapan pembukaan telah mula menyerang peribadi DSAI malah ucapan pembukaan beliau langsung tidak menangkis hujah DSAI & yang paling memalukan ialah - lari dari topik...orang suruh debat minyak...yang hang dok cerita pasal demonstrasi tu apahal?

Soalan dari wakil Anwar pulak ialah tentang langkah penjimatan yang kerajaan umumkan pada tahun 2004 bagaimana ianya dibelanjakan kerana hakikatnya sampai kehari ini kita tak nampak langkah yang kerajaan ambil & dimana ianya dibelanjakan tidak dijawab oleh Shabery tetapi sebaliknya menyerang peribadi DSAI tanpa menjawab soalan dari Zulkifli.

Kesimpulan pada debat:
di pihak wakil PR - fokus pada tajuk tidak lari dalam hujah-hujah yang diutarakan & yang amat membanggakan ialah fakta-fakta yang diutarakan oleh Anwar ada fakta-fakta yang logik & diyakini sebagai 1 formula yang baik untuk menyelesaikan masalah harga minyak di Malaysia.

di pihak wakil BN - dari awal lagi fokus & hujah tidak ada kena mengena dengan tajuk debat tetapi lebih kepada hujah menyerang peribadi lawan & apa yang kita lihat ialah sememangnya kerajaan tidak punya formula untuk menyelesaikan krisis ini


hujah Shabery juga sudah selalu kita dengar dari semua wakil UMNO/BN iaitu GLOBAL, GLOBAL, GLOBAL & GLOBAL...tanpa langsung ada penafian menyanggah hujah Anwar...kita debat isu minyak & sepatutnya Shabery kena sanggah hujah Anwar dengan fakta & bukannya menyerang peribadi yang tak ada kena mengena dengan isu minyak..

Aku tertarik pada 2 perkara dalam hujah Anwar & Shabery tadi...menarik dipihak Shabery bila dia jelaskan kekuatan Petronas hari ini adalah kerana kerajaan UMNO/BN....tapi aku nak sangkal dakwaan tu dengan kenyataan ni - kalau parti lain yang membentuk kerajaan, Petronas juga akan berada pada tahap ini malah aku yakin kedudukan Petronas lebih baik dari hari ni dibawah kerajaan parti bukan UMNO/BN...

Warga PETRONAS ni siapa? Pekerja Petronas yg bertungkus lumus meraih keuntungan besar dia sedap2 kata UMNO/BN

Menarik dipihak Anwar pula ialah kenyataannya - harga minyak di Arab Saudi rendah tetapi inflasinya tinggi manakala harga minyak di Malaysia pula tinggi tetapi kadar inflasi pula LEBIH TINGGI!...

p/s - Datuk Nu Jazlan Mohamad Yb Pulai lagi dangkal. Dia berpendapat Shabery berjaya menundukkan DSAI dengan fakta... fakta apa? Hairan betul YB BN ni...

Just heard fromm the news on TV that a certain group of people in Selangor handed over a memorandom to the Sultan of Selangor pertaining their dissatisfaction about the new Pakatan Rakyat government, which according to them, failed to comply to certain guidance on the Islamic practices in the state.

C'mon people! Enough already complaining about the new government not being able to govern lah, failed to deliver their manifesto lah... It has only been about 3, 4 months ONLY... Have you ever heard the word "Peralihan Kuasa?" They are still learning about your old dirt you left! You as the former government yang memerintah berpuluh-puluh tahun pun lagi banyak failed the people takde pun orang nak ungkit hari-hari. Alih-alih je tukar government baru. Simple je.. Start working and stop pin-pointing! Baru la ada nasib baik kut in the next election!

Apa ada pada Kate?

I accidentally read the chronology of the courtship in MSN the other week and couldn't help but be amazed about it. Wow! It must be hard for her to have her privacy and life exposed by the paparazzi and the media. And it seemed funny at some points of time; what with busy bodies who seemed like they have not better things to do or think of.

She is beautiful, no doubt. And her poised look and charisma so very much matched the beau's late mother. And she looked matured also although she is just 25!

Any search engine on the www would return all sorts of stories and information about her. So the glamor one! Wikipedia pun ada! And what with the biography of some dude recounting his 'stolen moment of exquisite bliss' when he kissed the lady on her elbow which was 'a bit chapped and sort of wrinkly' when he was 7 and the lady was 6 on a playground? So want to tumpang glamer gitu! Cheap pub! Itu pun boleh buat biography okay?

And then the part when some tabloids paid $50,000 for a photo of her throwing away her garbage, and another tabloid paid $100,000 for the garbage itself to find clues about her preferred ice cream and concluded that she might be out of orange juice? Then, a consortium of tabloids launced a reconnaisance satellite that enabled them to read her lips from 280 miles above earth?

Once, a few dozen shoppers were taken to hospital after they were crushed by journalists a.k.a paparazzi in their attempts to photograph her as she was trying to buy some lipsticks! Then, some tabloid people also had filed official complaints to the press commission, whom they think were deliberately delaying the engagement, which in turn, according to them had made the situation 'intolerable' Quote "If this goes on much longer, we would not be responsible for the consequences" Unquote.

Up to date, she has got about 18 biography published and an upcoming mini series. And it is said that the couple is now officially engaged with a 2.4 carat diamond engagement ring published on the front pages of many tabloids. And they wish to lead a 'normal' life... Somehow or rather, I think that is quite impossible..haha...
