These flowers do not need to be watered everyday. They would die with excess water. See the dark pink flowers? That is the 4th pot that I got. All the other 3 died of excess water. It took 3 pots for me to learn..hehe..

The freshly cleaned fountain. It took me about 3 hours to clean up because needed to brush off all the lumut from the white pebbles



















I love this rose. Nice color and smell. This is what the called "Rose Kampung." The other roses plants I have are from Cameron Highlands which do not have any smell and their petals are a bit different from this rose kampung plant

Hooked..yet again!

Thanks for Wegra for pointing it out, I am now hooked to Cashmere Mafia. Pity though it had to stop at episode 4 (as of all the other series now are also being stopped until further notice due to the boycott). What can I say? Women rules! And friendship is the greatest! heheh!

Now, when would the 2007/2008 Writers Guild of America Strike end? Bosan giller weh takde update on my favourite series (read: Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Private Practice, House and Cashmere Mafia)

That's the difference between their industry's associations versus ours. Macam tu barulah boleh maju. Ni Gelombang Merah lah, kecoh sana sini tapi hasilnya macam tu jugak!

Hairspray

Just finished watching the downloaded film. Very interesting. I loved it!

Nice songs, nice grooves.. Wow! If you loved Grease (I love the 1st one with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John), you would definitely love Hairspray. And yes, John Travolta also starred in Hairspray, as a woman!

And Zac Efron- mmm...yummeh! And long-time heart-throb- James Marsden... nyum.. nyumm ..hehe..

Nice movie to be enjoyed (especially after you finished 3 long proposals for a bright prospect on a Saturday like I did..hehe..)

GA Update

It's becoming more intense! And Meredith-Derek is on the verge of falling apart!Well, not really, but there is someone else revolving around McDreamy. And she's really pretty. And as far as episode 10 is concerned, McDreamy had kissed her after an intense operation.

Aww..Really cannot wait for next week's episode..

And did I tell you Desperate Housewives' new season is also very intense? Also couldn't wait for next week's episode. Shhesh! I am hooked to these series!

p/s: Don't you think all the regular casts of GA are gorgeous? Feast to the eyes- men or women..hehe..

The Freedom Writers

I stumbled upon this movie by chance only. I must admit that I am guilty because I only watched it because of Dr Mc Dreamy aka Dr Derek Shepherd aka Patrick Dempsey. I looked him up in Wikipedia and found out that this movie was in his resume for year 2007. Although I must admit that I was quite disappointed with him because his part in the movie was so small and not so nice in the end pulak tu! But he still maintained his charming act and in short, HE IS SOOOOOOOOO GORGEOUS LAAAA....

The movie? It was SOOOOOOOO breathtaking. SUPERB! A1! Five star! Memang best! I don't know why it never hit our shore. Mungkin sebab the content is not Hindustani like, cintan-cintun, frust menonggeng, tahyul or seram like those films and dramas that are monopolizing our cinemas and TV airtime nowadays.

It is based on a true story of racial prejudices and war against in other in Long Beach (is it in CA? Not sure la...I left my Geography at Form 3..hehe..) It was a story about how a teacher managed to unite the whole bunch of teenagers in the same class (Room 203) at a high school who hated each other with contempt, just because they were not from the same races, colors and beliefs. She did not get any support from her head of department nor the school's principal when she asked for funds to buy books so that the students in Room 203 could read and learn. Therefore, she had to take another 2 jobs, selling bras at a boutique and becoming a concierge at a posh hotel so that she could afford to buy new books about racism for her class to read. She also organized a trip to a museum so that the students understand the evil of racial discrimination and took the underpriviledged teenagers to dinner at the hotel that she worked in so that they could have discussions with survivors or the Holocaust. These treats in return, unite the classroom and they became a family unit, no matter how bad their real family outside treated them and no matter from what race that they were born in.

The teacher, Erin Gruwell (acted by Hillary Swank) was divorced by her husband (Mc Dreamy) because he didn't comprehend why she was so into the children whom were not even hers. But her ways of touching the lives of the teenagers were extremely superb and really should be applauded. The foundation is still around and is making progress to educate teenagers from other schools and is proven to be a successful teaching program.

I strongly recommend you to go see the movie by any means. It's worth it and it gave something for you to ponder about long after you finished watching the movie. A warning though: It's a tear-jerker. I cried, and cried watching it. How wouldn't you, when you see how those kids suffered because of hate?

GA & PP

Kejap je Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy dah 6 episodes. Memang best layan dua-dua series ni. The first 2 episodes of PP were a tear-jerker. Sadis sangat! The interns in GA pulak dah became 1st year residents except for O'Malley. They have new interns pulak. First few episodes tu macam boring sikit sebab feeling dah lain. As residents, diorang dah kerek sikit compared to the times they were interns yang selalu kena buli. Tapi episodes yang seterusnya dah start interesting balik and I tak sabar-sabar nak tunggu Saturdays each week because that would usually be the day that my downloads of the 2 series would be completed. Lepas tu, layan la.. Best!!

GA Season 4 Episode 1

Yiehaaa! The season has started according to schedule, and I am now waiting for the downloaded episode to be completed...Eii...Tak sabarnya!!

Countdown

If everything goes as planned, ABC is scheduled to air the first episode of Grey's Anatomy season 4 tomorrow, Sept 27, 2007. Can't hardly wait! Excitednya nak follow the new season!

Gilmore Girls

Apart from GA, I am also nuts about GG. Never missed any episodes last time, but somehow along the time, I lost track because the station suddenly stopped airing them (or at least change the time slot which I was not aware of).

Anyway, thanks (again) to the world of torrent, I have downloaded the complete episodes of the final season (season 7) of GG. Yes, they have stopped the show since late May 2007. And I have just managed to find the time to see them all very recently.

I cried, and cried during the last 4 episodes of the final season. Sedihnya!! Especially the part when both of them have to be apart. Terbayang myself nanti bila Daniel dah besar, dah habis study kat university, pastu nak kerja millions of miles away from me, nak kahwin...Ah..Sedih sungguh! Tersentuh naluri keibuanku membayangkan that time which will come somehow or other..tsk..tsk..heheh..But, hope I am still around to witness all that, InsyaAllah no matter how sad I would be..

Now nak habiskan Desperate Housewives pulak! And tak sabarnya nak tunggu GA season 4..Heard that it will start airing somewhere next month..Yahoo!!

GA Update

It has been confirmed that Dr Preston Xavier Burke aka Isaiah Washington won't be appearing in the new season of Grey's Anatomy.hmmm...Alamak..Kurang cast..Tak besh la ini macam kan? The reason being, Dr Burke's attitude outside of the series is bad, and could disrupt the harmony of the other casts of the drama. Aiyoyo...Tu la..Awat perangai tu tak jaga? Kan dah kena buang?

He did disappear on the final episode of last season.. Sungguh sadis.. What happened? Tunggu la kat NTV7 ya? kekeke...

Grey's Anatomy update

For all GA's die-hard fans (esp Lela), the 3rd season of the series has just ended last Thursday... And I tell you, it was not good! Tak besh punya ending!! Frustrating! Semua tak berjalan lancar..Well, can't wait for season 4, which is scheduled to start in Fall 2007, around August/September..Aiyoh! Lambatnye lagi! Tak sabar nak tengok sambungan ni! And I hope Private Practice is as good.. Sementara tunggu season 4 ni bolehla layan PP ni dulu...heheh!

Towards the finale, Derek dah tak berapa hensem lagi la... Serabut semacam! Tu la antara yang tak best nya..hehe..Taknak citer lebih2 nanti spoil pulak those yang tak tengok lagi...Tapi, kesimpulannya, SAD ending for everybody...huwaaa!!!

p/s: Christina Yang's act in the finale is super superb!!!

grey's anatomy

Thanks to the world of torrent, I am now officially a Grey's Anatomy's addict..

An I wasted many, many hours of good sleep just to watch the backdated episodes back to back... Layan dari Season 1.. It's too addictive!

Anyway, how convenient it is that every interns are having affairs with their attendings.. And all the surgeons are hot looking..And I drool over Patrick Dempsey..He's sooo yummy and cool!!

I have now khatam all episodes and very anxious to watch the new episodes as they are being uploaded. Nak tunggu Fridays memang torturous la... Dahla kekadang tu ada weeks the drama is not being aired...Nak tunggu minggu depannya la pulak...hisy...Tension sungguh!! hahaha...
