Happy Birthday, Darling!

My Hubby turns 30 today. We are thousand miles apart, so there is no celebration. I got him a present, though. God knows when will I be able to pass it to him...sob! sob!

May Allah bless you always. Semoga dipanjangkan umur, dimurahkan rezeki and many more happy years for us together.. Amiin....

Staythorpe

Anybody ever heard about this town???

Nothing much about it has been written in the web. I'm stumped. Where to get the info lah?

From tint:

STAYTHORPE, a township, in the parish of Averham, union of Southwell, N. division of the wapentake of Thurgarton, S. division of the county of Nottingham, 4 miles (W.) from Newark; containing 68 inhabitants. The township comprises by measurement 632 acres: the river Trent is about a mile from the village. The tithes have been commuted for £187. 9. There are some vestiges of a grange which belonged to the abbots of Rufford

hmmmmm....

Hari Ini Bentuk Kerajaan, Esok Harga Minyak Turun

Excerpt from an email I received from a friend today, which pretty much described what my parents and i thought about the famous debate. Cheers!

Pekerja Petronas yg bertungkus lumus meraih keuntungan besar dia sedap2 kata UMNO/BN

Menarik dipihak Anwar pula ialah kenyataannya - harga minyak di Arab Saudi rendah tetapi inflasinya tinggi manakala harga minyak di Malaysia pula tinggi tetapi kadar inflasi pula LEBIH TINGGI!...

fikir-fikirkan. ..

p/s - Datuk Nu Jazlan Mohamad Yb Pulai lagi dangkal. Dia berpendapat Shabery berjaya menundukkan DSAI dengan fakta... fakta apa? Hairan betul YB BN ni...

Apparaaaa...

Just heard fromm the news on TV that a certain group of people in Selangor handed over a memorandom to the Sultan of Selangor pertaining their dissatisfaction about the new Pakatan Rakyat government, which according to them, failed to comply to certain guidance on the Islamic practices in the state.

C'mon people! Enough already complaining about the new government not being able to govern lah, failed to deliver their manifesto lah... It has only been about 3, 4 months ONLY... Have you ever heard the word "Peralihan Kuasa?" They are still learning about your old dirt you left! You as the former government yang memerintah berpuluh-puluh tahun pun lagi banyak failed the people takde pun orang nak ungkit hari-hari. Alih-alih je tukar government baru. Simple je.. Start working and stop pin-pointing! Baru la ada nasib baik kut in the next election!

Apparaaa...

Sedih lagi...

After about 2 weeks together, it was time for Hubby to leave us again for HCMC. The next R&R might be somewhere in Jan next year! We have tried our very best to be together and do stuffs together for the past fortnight, and seeing him off this morning made me really, really sad. I didn't even get to send him to the airport because he had arranged for a cabbie to fetch him since it is easier for him to claim from the company later.

Daniel stayed up really late last night to watch his Ayah packing. I think he knew that his Ayah is going to leave him again for a long, long time, so he didn't want to waste his time sleeping. I had actually made it a point to tell him that his Ayah is going away again, so that when Hubby actually does, he would not throw tantrums or search for him. For the past two weeks, "Ayah" had been his ultimate favorite word, and he constantly called out for his Ayah every 5 to 10 minutes, just for the sake of calling him. My dear little prince!

I actually allowed myself to be drowned in my sadness today. With no mood to do anything, I just sat on the bed, surfing the net on my laptop, catch up with friends' blogs, YMing- basically do nothing of importance although I have got tonnes of paperwork to do concerning my biz. And I actually had breakfast- no make it brunch, and dinner on bed! Didn't bathe till about 2pm. No household chores for me today. The dirty dishes and laundry can wait till tomorrow. My house is in a mess but I just don't have the energy to do anything about it. Blurggghh!!!

That's what happened when you became IBU TINGGAL again...hua!hua! B! I'm missing you already!

I'm back!

Alhamdulillah we have safely returned home last June 19th after about 11 hours of journey with a pit-stop in Dammam. We were originally scheduled to touch down at 11am but due to the pit-stop, we only managed to reached KLIA at 3pm. Poor Hubby whom had waited for us since before 11am.

Thanks to all friends whom had prayed for our safety and safe returns. And I have prayed that you will all get your chances to go there yourselves (for those who haven't) so that you can pray in person there yourselves, InsyaAllah.

I will upload photos of us there soon, InsyaAllah and share with you our experiences there. This time, the experiences and feelings were totally different from when we were there 10 years ago. Makkah and Madinah had both undergone tremendous changes from the last time we were there. Hopefully we can go there again very soon, InsyaAllah, maybe for Hajj, and hopefully Hubby will be able to join us next time, InsyaAllah. Ameen...

I leave you with a photo of me, Abah and Daniel in front of Kaabah. Alhamdulillah tak kena tangkap dengan polis. Mana boleh bawak kamera masuk Masjidil Haram or Masjid Nabawi. In fact most historical mosques memang tak boleh bawak kamera masuk. Police conduct bags and body checks at the entrance of the mosques
