Happy Birthday, Mak!!

My Mum was not really feeling well to celebrate her birthday. Dr Noriah conducted some tests on her and found out that she got very low sugar count in her blood. Anyway, after enough rest (my Mum rarely rest...ada je benda nak buat) her condition got better. Siap menjahit etc for the upcoming wedding. Another month to go and preparation is under way.

Anyway, we went for dinner at a Thai Restaurant near home. Food was good, cuma suasana havoc sikit sebab ada another big party was ongoing there. Baby Daniel was quiet restless initially because of the noise and high-pitched singing by the in-house singer.. But he relaxed soon after that and refused to sleep although we forced him to.

I bought Mak an Omron blood pressure monitor machine so that she can now constantly check on her bp. Shared the cost with Hubby, of course. I also bought her a birthday cake which was yummy!

To Mak, May Allah bless you always! You have always been the pillar of our family. I cannot and dare not imagine not having you in my life, because you have always been there for me and us, through thick and thin. I love you so much and I pray that Allah will grant you more healthy and fulfilling years, so that I can at least repay you only a pinch of what you have given me all these years.. Tu pun tak mampu rasanya because you have given me so much!!!

AF4 Konsert ke-9 (AFMASUK) review...

Nak jugak komen pasal AF4 ni..hehe...

First time AFMASUK concert... I think everybody did their best, but I just couldn't understand the Lotter-mania scenario. I think he'd better be off auditioning for a part in Senario instead. AF is no doubt a singing contest....I heard his fan commented that Lotter is a great performer/entertainer...Well, entertainer tu tak semestinya penyanyi la kan? He's more to comedy punya entertainer la. Joinla Senario and the likes.... But AF? It's a SINGING contest, but the academy taught the students to become GOOD singers, bukannya pelawak!

I actually rooted for Zila...Think she has got a nice, soothing voice. And she sang beautifully. She should have been chosen as the fifth finalist.

But then again, AF ni mengarut jela... Those pihak-pihak tertentu jugak yang mengaut keuntungan daripada 'Kebijaksanaan' pengundi-pengundi.... Apa yang pengundi dapat ye? Kepuasan la kut bila their choice menang etc. Lain tadak...Rugi duit lagi ada...

I actually hope that this season, hanya yang layak akan menang, tak seperti semasa AF3...All the other 4 finalists have their own strengths.. I think they are all talented, cuma I hope Farhan would come out victorious next Saturday. Faizal yang blur tu second oklah...hehe...

Anyway, I do not know whether I will be able to watch the final concert next week. In's wedding reception will be on the same night lah...But nevermind, there would be repeats of the whole season kat @15 kan...So, no problemo lah...

GO FARHAN!!!!

Shaken (not stirred? hehe...)

I asked Abah to help me sending my Picanto for the 3rd free service. Since Adik was around, Mak, Ija, Daniel and myself went about around town in Abah's Trooper to run our errands. I wouldn't drive the Trooper had Adik not been around...Hated the clutch...Keras!!

On the way home, I borrowed Mak's car, which Adik drives to school, to have my hair cut. Asyik tertangguh je, so since we were somewhere around the shop, I stopped by with Ija while Mak, Daniel and Adik went home.

After the Auntie cut half of my hair off (pendek la pulak rasanya), we started home. I missed the junction leading out of the shoplot area, so I reversed the car a bit. Then I stopped the car to make sure that no car was coming towards my way, before I made a turn to the junction. Suddenly, GEDEGANG!!! I was shaken.. I didn't realize that a Pajero had hit the car from behind initially. It took some time to register in my mind.

I came out of the car, while the driver of the Pajero had already inspected the damages of both cars. It was blazingly hot, and I was a bit blur that time..Maybe traumatized kut..hehe... The Iswara's right rear lamp was broken, the bumper had shrinked in and the rear body was dented. Even the Pajero's metal bumper was dented. That showed how hard he had hitted us.

Actually he didn't see us. He reversed quite fast, I think, also to turn into the same junction that I was about to turn into. Since it was a one-way street, he was not supposed to reverse and use that particular juntion. But, normally who cared about one-way street kan? Tu yang kena tu.. I asked him how to settle, then after some thought, he gave me his namecard and asked me to look out for him when I want to repair the damages. Since both of us were also in fault, he had agreed to split the repair cost of the Iswara. OKla tu...I didn't want to press my luck.. Buatnya dia tak nak absorb langsung kos tu kan ke susah? Anyway, he's the owner of a big Chinese restaurant about a km away from the accident scene. Takde masalah la sebenarnya kalau nak absorb everything pun...hehe...

Anyway, I left the scene shaken, but feeling really blur...Rasa macam tak sangka sangat kena langgar. Nasib baik berjaya kawal trauma...Kalau tidak, macam mana nak balik coz Ija lagi la trauma driving although she can drive legally. But she once drove Abah's lawyer's car and a lorry hit the side mirror until it was broken. Terus trauma taknak drive lagi....

Adik bengang habis kereta tu kena langgar....hehe..

Another angry day....

How do you feel when somebody regard you as unprofessional when you are just doing your job as directed by company? And, he was the one who made the matter complicated in the first place? Jawabnya, kena maki lah kan?

Ah...boringnya...keje dah la banyak menimbun, badan tak sihat, mood pulak dah takde sebab malaun tu....kata je taraf akademik tinggi, tapi cakap macam tak pakai otak jer? nak citer ke kat sini? malas lah...pikir pun dah sakit hati, tulis kang makin mendidih plak darah ni....

Nasib baik ada budak nih...ingat dia, sejuk sikit hati....

another long journey...

went through another long day at work today...went for a daytrip to Melaka and only started back for home at around 6.30pm...Itu pun lepas the centralised aircond system was switched off...If not, tak habis lagi discussion rasanya....

And, while I was in the meeting, a gentleman called me for a quotation, so that he can submit a sebutharga tomorrow.. TOMORROW???? Nak berak baru nak gali lubang ke? Sabar je la...Nak maki tak sampai hati... Nasib baik I have quoted another company for similar items. He knew that I was outstationed that day, but dengan suara kesian and penuh pengharapan (hehe) asked me to help him out. So, I told him I can only quote him tonite after I reach home. And he had been calling me for the quotation 3 times already!! Wah... Lebih betul...Dahla orang janji nak tolong (which kalau I tak buat pun actually takde mende), call orang malam-malam buta sampai pukul 11pm lebih...Kalau dah terdesak sangat pun, respect la people's privacy sikit...Dahla tau I baru balik outstation, dah malam sangat pulak tu, lagi nak push...Sabar jela tau!!

Ok, I'm done for the day... Desperately need my rest now...Rasa macam nak demam la pulak...Hidung dah start berair ni...Jangan jangkit kat Daniel sudah.....

330km drive...

Work started very early today because I got to fetch my boss from the airport at 8.30am. We were supposed to have a meeting at 10.30amin Bangi, but it was postponed to 2pm at the last minute. So, we went to the office first. I didn't bring my notebook, thinking that I would be outside of the office the whole day (and I am soooo lazy to carry this big, heavy thing). So, tak dapat buat kerja lah. Selamba habis...Dah la boss datang, lagi tak nak buat kerja...hehe...

Anyway, my odometer clocked the above figure by the end of the day... phuh....macam pergi JB daa... Felt so lethargic and sleepy, but tonight ada Desperate Housewife. Kalau I baring ni, sure hanyut punya la sampai pagi karang...hehe...

Anyway, below is Baby Daniel posing like a body builder...kekeke....

Of Datukship..(and of no relation to Datuk K's hoo..haa...)

I read somewhere last week that John Todt of Ferrari (and said to be the love of our own Datuk Michelle Yeoh) had been granted the Datukship recently. Not that it is any of my business, but I couldn't help thinking- WHY? On what grounds? From what little knowledge that I have, Datukship would be granted to someone who has made the country proud, banyak berjasa kepada negara etc. etc. I don't know- what had John Todt give back to Malaysia? Well- not for me to question, tapi rasa kelakarlah when I heard the newsreader kat radio mentioned his name as Datuk John Todt last week...

Enough about that. I am embarking on a new mission starting today. I hope I would be able to achieve my final goal. I AM DEFINITELY GOING TO GET MY OLD FIGURE BACK!!! kekeke... Yep! I haven't returned to my old shape prior to pregnancy and delivery of Baby Daniel. Dah lama dah ni...Coming to 5 months and it's like static there. I gained quite a lot of kgs during pregnancy, and have managed to shed only a few kgs after delivery. Not that Hubby's complaining, but I just want it for self satisfaction. And, I do not wish to completely change my entire wardrobe! Baju lama banyak dah tak muat, and I hate shopping for new clothes now (walaupun dulu I LOVE shopping)..Well, dah ada anak ni, semua shopping untuk dia lah. I am still in the range of my BMI (top range lah tapi), but I am not happy lah. I am giving myself another 3 months limitation, and hope to shed more of these excess fat by then. So, guys reading, please cheer me on yah? hehe....

I spent Sunday shopping with Baby Daniel, but will put the posting at Daniel's blog lah... See you guys there!!

Daniel seen here, 'confronting' his Mickey Mouse...hehe....

Kesas hiway- where 120km/h is not fast enough...

I have been frequenting this particular highway for about a month now. As the title suggested, I have always felt like I was on a racing circuit everytime I was driving on the highway. No doubt the highway is quite straight and the corners pun cun-cun belaka...Smooth ride la kiranya...It is especially dangerous (at least to the heart) seeing the F1 drivers wanna-be zooming past you, or at least 'cucuk' you so that you give way or drive faster. Memang adrenaline pumper lah...hehe... Well, it used to be Hubby's favourite pastime- illegal racing with his mates on weekend nights there... Time muda-muda dulu la konon test power..Ches...

I'm blogging in the comfort of my home now...Streamyx has been up and running. Speed quite good. We took the 1MB up package. Tengokla sebulan dua ni...Kalau speed hampeh, we'll downgrade lah. Now bolehla jadik cyber chic..hehe..

Take a read at this from Harian Metro (Rabu, 19 Julai 2006)

Am proud to announce that I am one of the 2,933 who passed the first stage....Yay!!! Still waiting for official letter from SPA on where I would be attending the 3-day training. Well, many people said that it would be difficult to become a PTD if you don't have them 'inside people' Tak taulah betul ke tidak... But, I'll just try my luck lah. Kalau ada rezeki untuk Baby Daniel, I would become a PTD!!! heheh..Rasa macam reality TV la pulak....I have passed the first elimination... In the end, only 600 out of this 2933 candidates would survive...Sure hope I am one of them...Pray for me ok?

Baby Daniel is sleping now, in the confinement of a newly purchased mosquito net...Banyak nyamuk lah sekarang ni... He got bitten bad yesterday...Muka merah-merah kena gigit nyamuk. I hate mosquitoes... Lost my dear brother because of them...

Sibuknya hari ni...

Streamyx still not up and running.. So, takleh blog kat rumah lagi....

Still at the office at 7.33pm...nothing related to yesterday's bonus announcement... takdenye tetiba jadi rajin sebab dapat bonus extra...keke... truth is, I have LOADS and I mean, LOADS of things to do. Time tengah sibuk, bertimbun-timbun kerja lain masuk jugak. So, the things are just piling up in my PC. Kalau time free tu, takde menda langsung nak buat sampai tak tau nak buang masa camne lagi...

Anyway, baby Daniel's pix...Cover sikit kepala sebab dah botak...keke....

I'm sure every parent agree that, after a long and hectic day at work, your baby's smile would immediately erase all the fatigue from your system kan? Well, Daniel's sure melt my heart everytime he greet me when I came home from work...

Happy Birthday, B!!

Yeah! It's B's birthday today... And I have loads of things to do!!!

There goes all my plan to celebrate with dear Hubby today. But I had already presented him with what he had always wanted-ME...hehe....just kidding.... Actually, I applied for a fixed line and Streamyx for my techno geek hubby....Well, don't want to give him what he won't utilize later. Found out that he 'ponteng kerja' today. Maybe will grab a cake later today to celebrate.

Sent sis for another interview in Taipan this morning. Then settled down in office for my piles of paperwork. Managed to settle some just now. Sempat lagi tu nak blog...Takut lupa happenings...hehe..

Masuk office je, received unanticipated email from the biggest boss...hehe...He's the biggest boss because we have a lot of bosses in this relatively small company. For the first time ever (well, at least eversince I was in service with this company), we were all granted bonus payout for the first half of the year! Normally bonuses materialized at the end of the year, but this year we get it earlier. Dah terover-achieved target la tu...Alhamdulillah....Dapat jugak tampung belanja mana yang patut...Hopefully dapat double, triple or quadruple bonus la hujung tahun ni....hehe... Nampak gayanya kena stay sampai hujung tahun ni...tak jadi la nak resign...keke....

Hubby just called...Dia suruh balik sekarang...hehe...Ok, chiow!!!

this was supposed to be yesterday's posting..

6.00 am : hek..hek..hek... (Daniel nak start enjin nangis dia....)
Waaa!!!!Waa!!!!

It was about his usual second feeding time during his night sleep. Normally the first feeding time would be somewhere around 12midnight to 2am. Second ones would normally be somewhere around 4am-6am.

Still sleepy, I carried him out to the living room area, where he would normally be cheerfully greeted by Nenek and Atuk. Nenek prepared his formula milk while I tried to soothe him with plain water first.

After feeding, I put him on his mattress and started playing with him. I don't know why, but baby Daniel had always been fond playing very early in the morning, eversince his early days on earth. Kalau orang tak main-main dengan dia, he would cry. Sabar je la..

Suddenly he turned to his side, facing me who was sitting next to him. So, I casually laid next to him, so that my face were facing his on his side. Then I saw him turned further... Very slowly... Suddenly it struck me! Daniel was trying to flip and lie on his tummy (meniarap)! Wow!! I encouraged and cheered him on (yeah cheering di subuh hari...) and exactly at 6.28am, July 18, 2006, he had flipped fully and was lying on his tummy!!! yay!!!

The victory apparently consumed a lot of his energy...hehe... He didn't manage to lift his head after that. Sort of like tersembam kat atas tilam..hehe...After failing miserably to lift his head and wiggled roughly, I picked him up from the mattress. Kang lemas naya pulak!

I was so proud to have witnessed this new progress. Come to think of it, memang career parents normally would miss witnessing their baby's development. We would never know when would be the baby's first laugh, first flip, first word, first crawl, first step etc etc.... Those poignant moments should be witnessed, and forever remembered. Tapi nak buat macam mana? Tak kerja kang, macamana nak beli susu anak kan? Tu lah, those are the sacrifices that we have to make after we decided to take the new responsibilities of becoming parents kan?

Anyway, spent the whole morning sending my sis for her interviews around Subang and PJ areas. Afternoon ada appointment kat TPM, and after that, we stopped by Endah Parade to grab a few things. Sedar-sedar dah 6pm, so we rushed back to pick Daniel up from babysitter's house. Tengok-tengok Nenek dia dah sampai dulu and picked him up already.

Rearranged the bedroom's furniture and stuffs till late. Hubby got to work extra late today. (to be continued...see today's actual posting...)

Weekend happenings..

We went back to Permanent Residence last Saturday. We haven't been home for a fortnight, then. Stopped by car accessories shop because Adik aka Baby Daniel's Pokcu wanted to change his car radio. I sponsored half of the amount as his 20th birthday gift last July 4th (yes, he was born on the day America celebrates her Independence Day)

Reached Permanent Residence about 8pm. Lepas tu, apa lagi, Akademi Fantasia lah. I was quite satisfied that Lotter was voted out, but it would give me greater satisfaction if Amirul was sent off. Judges were quite harsh with their comments, but I think Siti looked radiant...hehe...Happy kut nak kahwin dah...My choice, of course would be Farhan to win this time around, and I also like Haziq because he got a nice voice, especially when singing traditional song lah. But I think Farhan has always been tested with different genres of songs, unlike the others. She is truly versatile, but of course jazz suits her best. Dah la dah 2 kali kena nyanyi lagu lelaki... Orang lain tak pulak kena...kesian betul minah tu..Faizal pun ok, tapi dia tu blur habis lah. Senyum sokmo suits him well. Senyum blur more like it...hehe...

There you go...Review of AF4...Sorry lah for those who hated AF. I hope next week Amirul would receive his red card and sent off the field..ewwah!!

Oh ya... Me and Hubby decided that Baby Daniel should have a haircut. Hubby had bought the trimming machine earlier, so on Saturday, off went Baby's hair... I asked Hubby to leave the hair a bit longer, but he ended shaving ALL of them off! Aiyoh...kesian my baby has gone bald! He cried his lungs out while his Ayah was shaving his hair off because the trimmer machine was so noisy! Nenek came home, surprised with her grandson's new look, but nevertheless, baby still look as handsome as ever....and with no hair, his chubbiness lebih terserlah....I like!!!hehehe.... Jangan marah, sapa lagi nak puji anak sendiri kalau bukan Mummynya...kekeke....

Baby Daniel managed to see his Ummi on Sunday, before we return to Current Residence. Ummi, Zhariff and Kakak Mila were so happy to meet him. Rindu habis la katakan... Caught up with Ummi on current issues...Baba is still in Japan, and won't be back till the end of the month. I think it will be a long time for Daniel to meet his Ummi again...

Daniel has fallen into a new habit of showing everybody his tongue. I don't know from where he caught the habit... Could it be from the Babysitter's young son? I don't know...Sometimes it looked cute when he did it, but at times I just felt like want to bite the tongue off!! Mula-mula keluar sikit je, tapi bila orang tegur, lagi panjang lidah dia keluar...Jangan it become a permanent habit sudah lah. I reprimanded him when he did that, but of course, dia tak paham lagi. Let's see how long this new habit of him would stay...

I have yet to upload Baby's new look to my notebook. Will post them pictures when I'm done uploading...

Anak Amanah Allah....

This morning I saw a video done by my hubby on baby Daniel. We went back to Hubby's hometown last weekend because a relative got married, but we didn't actually attend the wedding because we arrived there quite late. Anyway, the video was captured shortly before we made a move from Jasin to go back home. Baby Daniel's Nenek was holding him and she was sitting next to his Mak Ngah (Hubby's 2nd sister). He looked intently at his Mak Ngah, and when she smiled at him, he suddenly laughed! So, Mak Ngah continued to tease and 'agah' him, and he continued laughing so loud! It was so cute and hilarious, just to see a baby so happily communicating with people around him. I wish I could upload the video here, but I don't think it is possible lah.

Anyway, last two days, while I was sitting inside my car at the office's parking space , waiting for the engine temperature to rise, I saw a car, with a small family, consisted of a father, mother and a toddler daughter inside. The car stopped at a parking space in front of me, a bit further to my right. When the mother alighted from the car, the daughter, who was sitting on her father's lap, honked non-stop. I was on the phone with Hubby, and we were a bit annoyed by the noise.

While waiting inside the car, I narrated absent-mindedly what I saw to Hubby. After a few more annoying honk, the father stepped out of the car, closed the door, leaving the daughter alone inside! Gila ke apa? We kutuk the father for doing such a foolish thing (the daughter might lock herself inside the car, what?)

A while after that, I saw the girl came out of the car. I was about to move out of the parking space, when suddenly I heard the father screaming. I saw him running towards her daughter, and I saw an MPV making a sudden halt not far from them. I thought something bad had happen. It turned out that the girl was dashing towards the main road, and fell just in time the MPV passed by (quite fast also). I think the MPV missed her by a few inches only, and the driver stopped because he was also as shocked as the father.

I was like, need you have a more serious incident happen to you daughter would only you be extra careful? Adui....takut betul tengok the incident. It was so close!! While relating the incident to Hubby, who was still on the line with me, I prayed inside my heart that I won't ever do stupid things like that, which would harm my baby. Janganlah I terlalai macam tu sekali...Menyesal tak sudah nanti.

updates..

Many things had happened while I was not updating. It's not because I was too busy or lazy to update. It's just the server which had continuously made my blood go upstairs! hehe...

Anyway, I am now seriously contemplating of quitting my current job. So, am now busy looking out for vacancies. Hope can find one really soon. Rasa nak bertukar angin..hehe... I have been with this current company for the past 4 years. I stayed for 2 years with the previous company. Think it's high time for a change lah.

Baby Daniel is currently suffering from heat rash. Allergic reaction pun mungkin jugak sebab I forgot to tell his new babysitter that he's allergic to baby powder. Nasib baik I didn't forgot to tell her that STRICTLY use only nappy rash cream everytime she changes his diapers. Kalau tidak, normally she would use baby powder jugak. I could not imagine if she use baby powder in the place of nappy rash cream. Habislah.... So, Daniel has been contantly scrubbing his face with his cute hands (geram betul dengan his chubby fingers). Kalau we stop him from scrubbing, he would cry. Kesian dia. Mesti gatal muka and badan dia tu. We applied heat rash powders to lessen the itchiness and so far he has responded well.

I managed to catch him on video while he 'walked' with assistance la, of course! My lil' bro said, he looked just like the Asimo humanoid robot walking...hehe...but he looked cute, nevertheless (of course I am biased- I'm his Mummy lah...hehe). Too bad I couldn't upload the video here....

Daniel now likes to grab things. He especially loves hair, his toys, cloth, spectacles- anything lah. Kalau dapat genggam rambut, sure tak nak lepas punya. Lepas tu, dah mula nak teething, kut. Asyik main-main gusi dia dengan lidah je. Comel sangat kalau dia tunjal-tunjal gusi dia dengan lidah tu (I am biased again...hehe) Nanti kalau dah ada gigi, habislah semua orang kena gigit...aiyoh!!!

and he calls himself a businessman??

I went to JPJ this morning to renew my driving license. There were so many people there! But the processing were rather smooth and efficient (except for the fact that the Malay lady at the counter didn't know how or forgot to answer my 'salam' and smile back *sigh*.

Anyway, I received message from HQ that the equipment that I wanted to propose to my client to replace the one he favored (which has been obsoleted, anyway) has also been obsoleted! Aiyoh, kena cari replacement lagi... It was something that we do not have alternative product to offer, so I had to opt for another company's product to offer my client. Of course I would need his protection lah. Meaning that he won't go in himself later with a cheaper bid, nor would he quote the same pricing to other vendors should they ask for it.

I called an ex-colleague, whom I knew was selling this particular brand. He told me that he no longer support that brand, and asked me to call another company instead. He asked me to speak to a certain chap to get a good pricing.

I called the office, and was answered by a lady receptionist. Asked to speak to this certain chap, and this girl asked me what was it regarding? Told her that I need to discuss with this chap about a certain product. The girl asked, what product? I asked he back, "IS he around or not? I want to speak with him." She replied that he was very busy at that moment. I told her that his name was recommended to me by a colleague, and insisted to speak with him. Reluctantly, the girl took my particulars and said she would get the chap to call me back later.

After about half an hour, she called me back. She said she wanted to send me the official quotation and needed information on where should she send the quotation. I told her that I needed to talk to HIM and discuss about some specifications which she didn't know. She said that guy is SUPER BUSY and after a short pause, she said, she would send the quotation TOGETHER with some brochures which contained the specifications. Well, I could download the specs from the Internet, demmit! I wanted to DISCUSS, stoopid!!!

There I was, trying to help selling his product, and he couldn't be bothered to even talk to me over the phone? How much time would he lost by speaking to me? Well, he would lose more, actually, when i told the girl, "It's OK then. Nevermind." Confused, she asked me back "It's OK?" "Yeah, it's OK. I don't need your product!" and hung up.

Some of us have trouble just being polite, kan? Actually, it's a certain trait in CA-YA-NUN-ALIFF people lah. Macam mana pun, they think they are GODS! I'm not really against them lah (I am half them, what?) Tapi, I memang perasan, they have this sort of ego in doing business. Macam bagus sangat. Some of them rather not sell anything, than succumb to your request to decrease the price a bit more (which won't hurt). Janji aku yang in control. To me, boleh blah la wei!!!

And now, I have to find other brand to propose. Sheeesh!!!!

On Daniel, he had been quite restless these few nights. He woke up after a long slumber last night at about 2am and refused to go to sleep after his feedings! Everybody else were sleeping already, tinggallah Mummy dok main-main dengan dia. Way after 3am baru lah dia lelap balik, itu pun with little force from Mummy yang dah separuh lelap..hehe... He woke up again at about 4.30am, crying like nobody's business sampai semua orang dalam rumah terjaga. Mummy couldn't tahan already, so Daniel was safely taken care by Nenek and Atuk. Oh ya! Ayah did not come home yesterday because he got some work to settle. Not that he would wake up pun eventhough Daniel screams like mad in his ears! hehe..Daniel had colic. Patutlah inconsollable. He continued his screaming off and on until about 9am.

Found out from the new babysitter that he had not 'go' eversince he was under her care. She thought Daniel 'went' at home, so she never ask. Aduh...kesiannya anakku. Patutlah 2,3 hari ni asyik meragam je. Perut tak sedap la. Bunyi pun macam gendang je bila jentik-jentik. Kesian betul! Instructed Acik to give him some fiber to be mixed with his formula milk later today. Hopefully it would help him (and in return help everyone else...hehe)

*sniff!sniff* I smell something fishy....

I came in late into office today...well, later than usual..hehe.. Today's Daniel first day at the new babysitter's house. Total change of environment. From my point of view, this is the traditional babysitting environment. Daniel was exposed to many new stuffs by his Ummi while he was under her care, because his Ummi is into info hunt for baby care and development. She covered up for me for the time that I lacked to spend with Baby Daniel for his new life discoveries. Such a pity that she had to stop babysitting Daniel. For now, I'm contented if the new babysitter could take really good care of Daniel. Jangan dia mistreat my darling Baby sudahlah. She had past experience babysitting for many babies and kids, and got quite a good recommendation from my Mum's colleague. My only concern is, she is also taking care of another baby girl a few months older than Daniel. I couldn't imagine if both of them cried at the same time, which one would she calm down first? Dah la Daniel kalau mengamuk tak hengat punya....Aiyoh...scary...scary....

Anyway, I got a 'funny' call when I was about to reach office today. The caller was a girl, calling from a fixed line phone. She seemed hesitant at first, and then she asked for someone named Shirah. I told her that she had called a wrong number, but then she asked for my name. Unsuspectingly, I told her my name and was about to hang up when she continued by asking where was my location. I got irritated, my voice raised a bit, I told her again that she had got a wrong number. She quickly said sorry and cut off the call.

I thought the story ended there. I got the next call from the same number, the same voice, looking for the same Shirah about 20 minutes later. This time I was really irritated when the same questions were asked again. She still asked for my location (which I regretted telling) and said sorry again when I was about to scream at her when she seemed about to ask more questions.

The funny thing is, she called me at the two different mobile numbers that I own! It is quite impossible for somebody to 'accidentally' call the same person at two different numbers if she didn't know that person, right? It is obvious that the 'wrong number' calls were intentional, to know who and where (and God knows what else) I am.

The question is, WHY? And WHO was she? Bestnya kalau dapat tau!!

The calls unevitably reminded me of those prank and obscene calls and SMSes that I received a few years back, during my singlehood. At one season, I received them from different people, and until today, I don't know what were their motives or what wrong have I done them. The first prank SMS which I received that season was someone asking me to have sexual intercourse with 'him.' Well, I thought it was HIM, before I managed to find out that the sender was actually a girl! (I also know how to find my ways!). Unsatisfied with my actions, she kept harassing me with more obscene SMSes and calls! Initially, I picked up her calls, and asked her what was her problem with me? Kut-kut la I rampas boyfriend dia ke, I got promoted over her ke, tak puas hati sebab I lebih glamour, popular and more beautiful than her ke? But, she refused to answer me. Yang dia dok buat, jerit-jerit kat I, maki and carut I macam orang gila meroyan. Last-last, I ignored her. I never layan her SMSes, never pick up her calls. Initially, dia kata I pengecut sebab taknak lawan dia. Tapi, ajak jumpa taknak pulak. I told her that I have her phone numbers and could easily report her to the police for harrassment. Dia cabar I report her, and I waited for her next attack before I lodge the report, tapi that was the last time that I heard from her. I also received a few other SMSes and calls from guys I didn't know, cakap lucah-lucah bila telefon I over and over again. At that point of time, I really believed that this world was so full of sick and mad people. Alhamdulillah, after I ignored those SMSes and calls, they stopped coming in.

I am now keeping track of the number and the voice. If she calls again, I hope I am fully on-guard and will do the correct actions....

On a different note, I saw this on Harian Metro Online:

Asmawi Ani atau Mawi reda dan tidak terkilan kerana tidak berada disisi bapanya, Ani Ahmad, 66, ketika menghembuskan nafas terakhir di Intitut Janjung Negara (IJN), Kuala Lumpur, malam kelmarin. (Read more for yourselves at: http://www.hmetro.com.my/Current_News/HM/Monday/BeritaUtama
/20060703084811/Article/indexm_html)

My first impression after I read the article was "Astaghfirullahal a'zim" I don't know whether you guys will agree with me (especially those Mawi die-hard fans), but as someone yang digembar-gemburkan sebagai seorang penyanyi yang 'soleh' dan 'beriman,' how could he uttered such answer (kalau betullah dia cakap macam tu- kadang-kadang media pun tersilap report jugak!) For Allah's sake, that was your FATHER whom you are talking about!! Your FATHER passed away when you were SINGING a.k.a menghiburkan@mela'ghakan peminat, and you tak terkilan not being with him during his final moments? What kind of son are you? Dah cukup ke balas jasa dengan kemewahan you sekarang? Well, from what I know, your FATHER tak sempat pun nak enjoy kemewahan you.. Rumah baru dan besar dan kereta etc pun tak sempat nak duduk/guna lama. Hai, entahlah? Kenapa orang mengagung-agungkan sangat mamat ni pun I tak tau. I was never his fan (pengakuan berani hehe..). Perangai tah apa-apa pun orang puja-puja jugak. Memang petanda dah akhir zaman la ni....
